Hardide Coatings presents to UK Business Minister and Sector Lead for Aerospace Paul Scully MP

We were very pleased to be one of a select handful of SMEs who participated in a roundtable with Paul Scully MP, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Small Business, Consumers and Labour Markets organised by Midlands Aerospace Alliance (MAA) to highlight the significant role the aerospace industry’s supply chain is playing in delivering the UK’s net zero targets.

The meeting was held at Meggitt, a leading international aerospace company specialising in high-performance components and subsystems, at their new headquarters at Ansty Park in the Midlands.

Rob Holmes, VP Aerospace at Hardide Coatings said:  “This was a tremendous opportunity to present Hardide Coatings to key, national decision makers and further the role our coating technology is playing in creating a greener aerospace sector. We also discussed how aerospace companies are recovering from the pandemic, the impact of the long production cycles inherent in the sector and how investment in supply chain innovation can enable the Government’s aim of levelling the regional economies.”
