Our new Longlands Road site has been certified to aerospace quality management system AS9100D which includes ISO 9001:2015 valid until 4 February 2022.
CEO Philip Kirkham commented: “We are pleased to announce that Longlands Road has joined our US facility and former UK site in achieving AS9100D certification for the manufacture and deposition of hard coating for metal and non-metallic components. AS9100 is an important certification for us; it demonstrates our commitment to practice repeatable, reliable, and continuously improving processes that deliver world-class products for the aviation, space and defence industries.”
AS9100D certification is a standardised quality management and assurance system governing the aviation, space and defence industry sectors. It is internationally recognised as the QMS that provides a foundation for the aircraft and aerospace industries to provide safe, quality products and services. Developed from the framework of the ISO 9001 quality management system standard, it includes requirements for configuration management, reliability, risk management, maintainability, safety and special processes.
